What is a McKenzie Friend?

A McKenzie Friend offers practical help before and during family court. They can guide you through your paperwork, help you prepare what you want to say, organise your documents, and make the steps ahead clearer.

In hearings, they sit beside you for quiet support, take notes, and help you stay focused. They can’t speak for you, but they make the process easier to manage and less isolating.

Lucy

Amarjit

I hired Carly Rivers for my statement, and she did the very hard work needed to write a top-class statement. She completed it to the same standard as solicitors do, but the price is only a fraction of what a solicitor's firm would charge. I am very pleased to have hired her, and I will be using her for the rest of my case.

Emma

I cannot thank Carly enough. I found her to be really friendly, knowledgeable and pro active. She worked really hard on condensing  my information and went above and beyond with communication. She guided me through the process wirh tact and profrssionalism which I really appreciated. Her calm manner helped to alieviate my converns and worries about the court process.
